My wife and I booked two walking tours of Freiburg with Black Forest Tours since we had such a marvelous experience back in 2019 touring the Black Forest. Each tour was easy to book with the most difficult part being which of the many enticing tours to book. Simone was prompt and detailed with her responses to our emails making the process smooth as silk.
Both of our guides (Barbel for the first - a walking tour of the old town and cathedral -and Doro for the second - a food tour of the market plus other shops) were knowledgeable and engaging and made the four hours of touring the old town zip by. Each had to sidestep potential issues when a funeral at the cathedral interfered with our Monday tour and the rainy weather made finding a dry spot to have the lunch we picked out challenging.
We certainly learned a great deal on both tours. The market unit measures etched into the cathedral foundation, the stdone mason's wage protest gargoyle, the lange rote cart histories, etc. all really aded to our regular enjoyment of the Altstadt of Freiburg - a place we both really like. Whether our travels ever bring us back to Freiburg is another story but we ever do we will be sure to contact Black Forest Tours.

We visited Freiburg for a half-day and took a private tour with Black Forest Tours. Our guide, Iris, was fantastic. We learned so much about the history of Freiburg.
