Hopping through The Black Forest to Baden-Baden
The following day you will be taking a bus passing through the Black Forest National Park on your way to Baden-Baden. There is plenty of picture-perfect scenery with waterfalls around every corner. You can hop on and off the bus anytime. We recommend stopping at Lake Mummelsee – a main attraction on the route. You can walk around this natural glacial lake at the top of The Black Forest, and enjoy a piece of Black Forest cake at the cafe overlooking the lake.
Upon arrival in Baden-Baden we provide you with a self-guided walking tour. Baden-Baden is one of the most famous towns in The Black Forest. Going all the way back in time to the days of the Roman Empire which gave birth to mineral hot spring Spas, this is one of the most important towns in history. And when it comes to luxury, natural hot spring Spas, and historic casinos, even before Monaco, there was Baden-Baden. This is one of a handful of must visit towns for the knowledgeable world-traveler.
